Our driver will pick you up from the train station and we include dinner on the first night of your hotel so you don’t have to worry about a thing. Equipped with our Schnapstrail booklet and access to our mobile touring app there is no chance you get lost the following day when setting out on the trail. We tell you where to stop, where to turn and what else there is to see.

Do I have to be a real hiker to enjoy this? The answer is: NO

You do not have to be a hiker to go on our Schnapstrail. BUT,….Ideally you are able to walk 7 km (4 miles) to fully enjoy this experience. Please contact us if you have any concern about the distance and we can provide different options.

How about some touristy sights?

Will this still be fun if you don’t enjoy alcohol?

Absolutely! If some people travelling with you don’t enjoy alcohol this is still a great get-away. The fact that you are in a rather remote area of the Black Forest lets you experience real culture. The schnapsfountains often offer non-alcoholic beverages as well. But even if you don’t want to taste any drink at all this hike shows you beautiful side of the Black Forest – it takes you to a waterfall with the option to head up to the famous High Summit Road.

How much time do I need?

Our short get-away includes 2 nights of hotel. This way you have a full day to enjoy the schnaps trail before leaving to your next destination. Many visitors add-on more days because they also want to see some of the more touristy sights of the Black Forest. Tell us what you have in mind – we can most likely make it happen!
