What Airport should I be flying into?
If you are not sure when to come visit, check our season page to see which tours we are offering year-round. Ideally you’d be flying into Frankfurt and then catch a non-stop ICE train to Freiburg. The train ride is about 2 hours. Other close German airports to fly into are Stuttgart, Friedrichshafen and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden. If you are flying into Switzerland, you can catch an airport shuttle to the Black Forest at either Zurich or Basel airport. Zurich is about a 2 hour drive, Basel 40 minutes. If you are flying into France, you can catch a train from Paris or an airport shuttle from Basle -Mulhouse to bring you to the Black Forest.
