Black Forest Tour – North

Come along on a trip to the Northern and Central part of the Black Forest. Many times overlooked, this part of the Black Forest is not as developed as the southern part, but nonetheless offers sweeping views, secretive lakes and one of the most beautiful panoramic roads Germany has to offer.

We start with a visit to Baden-Baden, the ‘Monte Carlo’ of Germany. We will then take you to old castles and some wineries with breathtaking views before we start our drive into the mountains. We then take the scenic road up into the mountains stopping in small towns and beautiful lakes providing an incredible view. On clear days you are even able to see the Vosges mountains in France. In the Central Black Forest we visit the town of cuckoo clocks and get to see farmhouses which are more than 400 years old. You might actually turn out wondering why this northern part of the Black Forest is not as famous as it’s southern counterpart.
