    Watermill Tour

    20100524 Black Forest Mill Day

Have you ever wondered how an old watermill works but never made the time to actually find out? Built from wood, theres mills were used to grind flour and to saw wood. Follow us on a watermill tour through the Black Forest by clicking on the picture above. There are hundreds of old mills in the Black Forest – a few of them still working – and you will be able to see some of them. Depending on your interest we can drive up to one of the most picturesque mills (although to see most of them a little bit of walking is required) or we organize a real MILL WALK. We can include a few mills, you will walk 5-12 kilometres and we’ll get to taste some local foods and beverages during our walk. Check out some of the pictures from our recent Mill Walk .
