About Me
I am a native German (native Black Forest Girl that is) and after living in San Francisco for 15 years working for various tech companies I returned to the Black Forest in 2009. After the work-focused lifestyle in the US it took a while to adjust to the laid-back lifestyle of Germany. But now I am used to be sitting in a beer garden again discussing the weather and other important things in life.

After my return I kept running into English speaking travelers who had difficulties finding their way through the Black Forest on their Germany vacation. Plenty of travel information on the Black Forest can be found online, but the majority is written in German and really good information about this region is hard to find in English. So I started spreading the word and soon found myself touring the Black Forest with English speaking people of different nationalities. I have designed several Black Forest vacation tours encompassing all interests imaginable and launched Black Forest Tours in 2010. Everyone on my team is fun, outgoing, speaks English and is eager to show you why it’s worth coming to the Black Forest.
Besides having the best food in Germany, the people in Southwestern Germany are also known for their distinctive accent, their friendliness (it’s the sun!) and their hospitality. People are laid-back and prefer having a good time rather than stressing about things.

I think the Black Forest is one of the most beautiful holiday regions in Germany and a must-see for any visitor to Germany. After touring Berlin, Munich and other major cities during your Germany vacation come relax in the Black Forest. You will not be disappointed.
